Hi Guys! My Blog is about "7 segment Display" by allaboutcircuits.com. Basically it teaches the viewer on how the 7 segment display works. It is basically for students or circuit geeks who want to use a 7 segment display for a project or anything else. The site first introduce the materials needed, learning objectives, the circuit itself and the draft of the finish product.
I Think this would really motivate the people who are interested in circuits unless they will not bother to read it all. We once use this material for our project in DIGIDES where we involved in using the 7 segment display to display D--L--S--U that's why we really searched for many instructional site about the 7 segment. The discussion is quit long, and highly instructional. Every details of the circuit and the display was discussed in pure text, so you might be able to be confuse or dizzy of his explanation. His learning strategy is good because he showed the the circuit itself first and the finished draft before explaining everything else. Because our DIGIDES professor told us that before we explain something in a document of the circuit we should first show the whole circuit itself so that the reader would have something to look on while reading. For me this tutorial is appropriate for college students or older because of its complex explanation and highly about circuit design.
This tutorial should have videos with voice over after the explanations. because some people may not find the tutorial useful because of its purely text information. they may get tidy of reading it so they might have videos or even animation to show the flow of the circuit and how it actually display at the end.
